Our goal is to refresh Red Bull TV with a contemporary aesthetic that will remain relevant for the next five years. We will retain the signature wiglets while establishing a flexible system that serves as a creative toolkit, allowing for endless possibilities. Each user should have the opportunity to create something unique while still feeling connected to the Red Bull family.

Footage is king, with athletes driving the content we aimed to pull the data from their movement to developed the concept "Timing is Everything"

We tapped into this to capture the athletes' energy, placing it at the heart of the Red Bull TV branding. Rather than creating just one defined set of winglets, we envisioned an ever-growing suite that connects and draws from different disciplines by using motion data to drive the winglets to ensure that each feels unique.

This concept is wrapped in clean, bold typography that draws inspiration from the motion language, creating a consistent toolkit. Whether displayed on full-frame footage or cropped, the design refresh feels contemporary and inspiring, reflecting the energy of the footage. This approach helps maintain a youthful brand image, effectively attracting a larger audience.

After 2 months of working closely with the amazing Red Bull team, this project sadly didn’t make it through the final round of stake holder meetings.
